Photographing the stories that need to be told.
For 20 years I helped tell stories that shaped pop culture. Now I want to tell ones that shape something more important. I make photographs about the systems and decisions that affect everyday people — the infrastructure, the policy, the corporate choices that arrive, quietly, at someone's front door. There are stories out there that need to be told, and I believe the right image can help make that happen.
I primarliy shoot film, but also shoot digital. I believe both have their place in photography and determine which is best based on overall project needs.
